Calls are converted to \"IP transport\" for outbound terminations to intermediate carriers (toll providers); and are signed using Ribbon Communications (vendor) Session Border Controller, Policy Controller (PSX) and Ribbon's hosted Identity Hub verification services. Both the Session Border Controller and Policy Controller are physically installed on hardware maintained by the provider. These products allow calls originating from within our network to be signed as they egress towards the IP enabled intermediate carriers. \n\nThe policy routing solution acts as a broker and is part of our call trust and validation network, which utilizes reputation scoring from third party identity and resource hubs.
